Here's the thing. All the problem is created by that other app that comes pre installed. I figured it out later. And another problem is that, you need to free up space in order to share the files. The app needs space to create a local backup file. But why? If I have to delete some files to free up the space how am I going to get those files in my new device.

Had to transfer multiple times because it wouldn't transfer all the WiFi settings and SMS (maybe 75%). I got everything in the end though. This kind of stuff is a bit too important to mess up and it was fortunate that I went to double check. Transferring other stuff was fine (photos, videos, contacts). Transferred from Xiaomi to Xiaomi.

Excellent, very intuitive. I especially love the range selection tool. Just select the first and the last file, and it will select everything in between. Never had bugs, crashes, even though I'm running a 2016 Android 5.0 phone. Very stable, easy to access and delete files.

After hours of wasting my time with other top rated/downloaded app in play store, I finally bumped to Mi Mover. I could finally get my photos/videos/messages cloned from my old Huawei phone to my new Mi phone. I found it quite difficult in the beginning to sync two phones as I expected it to auto connect but I had to search for the hotspot in my old phone and manually enter the password. And, I had to check the settings of the hotspot in the New Mi device to see the password.

I have 1.3/16 GB free and it keeps asking for more space. All I want to do is to transfer my contacts, not to back up everything I have.

Absolutely useless app, continually disconnected and after getting to 30% on the Fourth disconnection on reconnection reverted to 19% complete !!!!! 2 further hours later got to 23% complete and continues to disconnect and reconnect,.both phones right next to each other !!!!!! Serious considering sending new Xiaomi phone back as can't restore my existing data !!
