Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing YipTel Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Yiptel's customer support is awesome. If only I could say the same for this app. I've been waiting months for an update, but nothing seems forthcoming, hence this review. I'm unable to take inbound or make outbound calls on my Pixel 3 XL running Android 10. On the upside, I can still see my missed calls... New update on Feb 20 might have fixed things. Will update my review after further testing.

Definitely lots of bugs. I was excited to have this app when my company of 1200 people first started using it a couple years ago but both the desktop app and mobile app need serious work. For a tech company, it doesn't seem the focus for mobile devices is where it should be.

App no longer receives or originates calls. Whenever I try, it crashes due to an "unspecified error." I have uninstalled/reinstalled. Also doesn't work on my iPhone. 2 months of this. Figure it out.

App does not make calls since the Android 10 update. I've had the update for well more than a month with no sign that an update is coming to fix this.
