4 zone has serious bugs. Create a program in valve 2 and it applies to valve 3. Create a program in valve 3 and it applies it to valve 2. How is this possible??? Useless unless this is corrected. Will return if not corrected.

App is terrible. I have an Android 10 and Bluetooth is up to date but it took me over an hour to get my phone and the timer to pair in Bluetooth. Ran it the first time it worked fine, however the second time I wanted to water I was told I had to reconnect the timer to Bluetooth, and then the names of the sprinklers changed. I wanted to do the front, that's the one I picked, but it was the one in the back that started running. Absolutely horrible way to do business and a horrible app as well.

I don't know why others have so much trouble. I bought two Melnor controllers, and used them all last summer with no problems. The only glitch I've had was that android disabled my app this winter when it was not being used. I had removed the batteries and stored the devices. I couldn't find the icon anywhere until I went to settings - apps, and re-enabled the app. I then was able to find the icon in the app drawer and drag it back to my home screen. My neighbors get a kick out of me turning my sprinklers on from the street, but doing it from within the house is really why I bought these controllers, and the app does that perfectly every time.

Tough to get it to work. DO NOT CHANGE NAMES OF ZONES. Somehow the programming gets the zone and the program swapped and it took quite an effort to get it back to base conditions. I was going to give it one star and return it to Amazon but I will give it another try. Programming will be difficult for the non tech types. Buy from a supplier that accepts easy returns, you might need it.
