About this app

There are numerous software applications available that allow one to input a meeting cost and set a timer thereby monitoring the cost of the meeting and providing a total cost at its conclusion. Some of the better products include: Meeting Meter. Meeting Taxi Meter, Meeting Cost Meter and Meeting Meter. Unfortunately, these meeting meter applications start and end with the metering the meeting cost. This is of limited use as it
doesn't provide a method for determining the value of the meeting and the value of the meeting leader. What is most important is not the dollar cost of the meeting but rather the Value, the Return On Investment (ROI).

A fundamental problem with these applications is how to determine the per hour meeting
cost. All known existing applications either have you guess, assume you know everyone's
average hourly or yearly salary or know the groups average salary. The Meetings Analyzer
provides a variety of easy-to-use algorithms that the user can choose from to help determine the cost per hour of the meeting that do not rely on these assumptions.

Unlike other applications, the Meetings Analyzer allows one to save the meetings along
with the algorithm used to calculate the meeting costs and the configuration settings used by that algorithm. The Meetings Analyzer also provides the user with the capability of rating the usefulness of the meeting, categorizing the meeting, and noting who called or led the meeting. The analyzer can filter meetings by lead, meeting type, meeting rating
as well as other criteria. The Meetings Analyzer can sort the meetings via various
metadata, and it can provide statistical analysis of groups of meetings -- all controlled by
the user.

New features

The Dummy "Test" meetings are generated with meaningful statistical information. This allows the dummy test meetings to be used as a learning tool to understand filtering and analytics. Each user obtains different ratings, has different number of attendees, leads a limited number of types of meetings and has their meetings run different lengths.
