In principle this is exactly what I want. The recipes returned however we're lacking and highly inaccurate to the ingredients I had entered. The loading of recipes is laggy as well. Why can't I find a good Pantry recipe app?

About this app

Chef is the go-to cooking app for all your culinary needs - it’s perfect for those times when you have all that food in your fridge or pantry but don’t know what to make. Chef features a virtual fridge which keeps track of all the ingredients you have available. Then Chef conveniently provides recipes based on what you have, so you won’t have to go shopping for ingredients. It’s perfect for when you’re at a loss about what to cook, saving you time and worry, or just when you want to try something new. Chef is at your service!

Features:
Voice Commands - Chef is a great listener! Just tap the mic and say what ingredients you currently have, and Chef will put those ingredients into the in-app fridge. Just remember to say “and” between each ingredient!

Fridge- As you input ingredients into the fridge, they will be categorized into various groups like grains, produce, meat and fish, eggs and dairy, etc., so your fridge stays organized and easy to view. This makes it convenient to update the fridge with whatever ingredients you have and see what you have available.

Spoonacular - Chef utilizes the Spoonacular API to categorize ingredients in your fridge and generate recipes. It finds the most relevant recipes with the ingredients you have and shows you images of potential dishes to make. Just tap on one to find out more details on how to make the recipe.

Let’s get cooking!!
