I love this app and have had it on my home screen for the last couple of phones and versions of Android. However, every once in awhile it will lose the database and everything on it and will not allow me to restore from my backup as if it never existed. Losing everything after updating--and not being able to restore it--is really upsetting

This was the first app I'd ever bought when I got my first smartphone in 2011 and it's still one of the first I install whenever I switch ROMs. Great for keeping things that need my attention right in my face on the home screen or for a quick note that I can transfer to Google Keep later. Irreplaceable. Edit: Update to show that my original review from 3/22/2017 still applies and doesn't show "for an older version"

Thank you Matt for updating the app. I've used it for many years and I'm so happy that it's working properly again. This is without a doubt the best Whiteboard and Note taking app in the market. It's totally customisable to the nth degree and I would love to see it get a lot more stars. There is truly nothing else that comes close to this.

One of the only apps I've found that has a transparent handwritten widget option. All other issues forgiven because of the rarity of that feature.

Only note taking widget app of its kind, easy to set up and use, irreplaceable for me. Also great that it's getting updates again! (Tip: some launchers let you resize widgets to get whatever dimensions you need, and this widget works fine at any size.)

This app is horrible. I am baffled it cost money. Literally its only selling point, the widget, is an absolute struggle to work with. Every edit is a mystery whether it will actually save, so it cannot be trusted for even the most basic of uses. Getting it to show editable information on the widget involves tricking it and ignoring its interface cues. The only reason I'm not using refund is I'm unsure whether doing so would drop this review. If it cost me $2 to help save others from this, I'll take that hit. Look elsewhere if you want a simple notepad or editable widget, this app is not it.
