This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Matterport Scenes on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

It seems a very impressive software. If you want to scan a small living room it is a good choice. The small features like cables are not good but it is limited by the current technology I guess. ZenFone AR was used.

Very good for quick scans uses blurred pictures to texture skins so can be a little blurry but fairly accurate mesh's

Finally a 3D scan app that works! Tried every other app with my Asus zen AR and todate this is the ONLY app that works the best. Good job 👍🏻

Easy-to-use. Can open .ply files with a free software Meshlab on your PC. Semi accurate
