This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Manager Virtual Queue on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

The main objective of this application is to reduce the difficulty of people standing and waiting in the queues at public service places where they might have some work. Whenever people visit banks, hospitals or any other public service centres, they have to stand and wait for a while before it’s their turn to get their works done, as there might be a long-standing queue. This could be difficult for a person as they have to remain at the same place for so long which makes this whole process extremely tedious causing mental and physical weariness. This is also a huge waste of time.\nSo, we have devised a solution to overcome this problem, of standing or waiting in the queues, using a simple mobile application. Using this mobile application, the user does not have to stand in the queue at all, but he or she can still be in the queue which we call ‘The Virtual Queue’.

While the users join the queue using ‘User Virtual Queue’ application, the manager of the queue can see the whole list of joined members in ‘Manager Virtual Queue’ application. Now, the manager removes the name which is at the top of the list once that user’s work at the place is finished. Hence, the whole list gets updated thereby moving the current names to the top every time. Every update made in the list gets reflected in all the applications including the user’s application and the manager’s application. In this way, the manager keeps tracks of the queue list and updates the list by removing the names from the list.
