So far I like the app. It's simple and easy to use. If it's too fast on the slowest speed I've found it helps to simply enlarge the font. One thing I haven't found (and would love to be able to do) - how can I record a video while reading/using the app on the same device? It doesn't appear to be an option. When I start a video and then switch to the app, the video, of course, stops recording. I would have to open the video through the app, I think.

Excellent Speed Variability. Additional speed changes available by changing the font size. Very straight forward and easy to use.

This is a really good basic teleprompter app, that just gets stuff done without ads. Really happy with this 👍

The slowest text scroll speed is about twice as fast as a person can speak.

Don't know why people say it's too fast, maybe they can't read good?

About this app

This teleprompter allows you to quickly take a block of text and start prompting it!

This app is a great solution for those who need to get a teleprompter up and running in no time. Need to practice script-reading? Working on a video and don't have time to memorize the script? This teleprompter is everything you need.

An added benefit to using this teleprompter on your phone is that, when recording videos, the small screen will make it impossible for your viewer to tell that you are reading text. Place the phone near the lens and it'll look as though you're looking directly at the viewer for the entire video! On the other hand, tablet users have the benefit of a large screen and can use the app as an actual teleprompter due to the ability to mirror text.

Settings include the ability to change scroll speed and font size, text mirroring, and the option to add empty space padding before and after the text. This padding will allow you to get adjusted if you need extra time before the text starts scrolling (for example, to allow time to get positioned in front of a camera).

New features

Changes in version 2.3:
- The user's text is now saved when the app is restarted
- Users may now preview their font size setting when editing text
- Fixed a bug that stopped the 'replace with clipboard' button from consistently detecting text in the clipboard
