This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Lyric Writer Pro on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Lyric Writer Pro is an extension of the Lyric Writer app. Lyric Writer Pro was built for musicians who need to have access to their lyrics at a moments notice through either playlists or a master song list. With Lyric Writer Pro it is no longer necessary to carry around bulky notebooks or binders full of lyrics. This app makes storing and organizing your lyrics easy. This app also includes a fully functioning media player so you can play music while viewing the lyrics. Lyric Writer Pro comes with extended features which include auto-scrolling. This allows musicians to keep their focus on the music without having to worry about flipping through pages. Lyric Writer Pro also includes zoom controls and scroll delay options, all of which are auto-saved. This app is great for professional or amateur musicians, karaoke lovers, singer/song writers, or anyone who enjoys singing along to music.

How it works:
When the app is first installed, it will create a directory on the sd card, /Lyric Writer Pro. This directory includes 3 sub-directories, /Lyric Writer Pro/Backup, /Lyric Writer Pro/Import, /Lyric Writer Pro/Export. The Backup directory is where the app backs up all lyrics/playlists/and song settings which are normally saved in a database on the hard drive. This is also where you can restore previous backups. The Import/ Export folders are used to import and export .txt files of lyrics. It may be easier to type the lyrics on a computer. The app will also create a Music folder on the sd card. Other apps may share this folder as well. You can store .mp3 and .wav files in this folder, and Lyric Writer Pro will play them along with the lyrics.

Adding Music:
To attach .mp3 or .wav files to your lyrics you need to copy the musicfiles into the sdcard/Music directory. You can do this on a PC by browsing to My Computer. You then need to plug your android device's usb cord into your computer. Once the device is plugged in, it may try to install a driver on your computer. Wait until this is finished. Then you need to drag down the Android Notifications Menu on your device and push USB Connected. This will connect your device to your computer and the sd card will appear as a drive under My Computer. Open this drive to find the Music and Lyric Writer folders. You can drag music files into the Music folder from here. REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THE USB CORD. Apps will not work while USB Connected mode is enabled on the device.

If the songs files are already on your device you can drag them into the Music folder via a file manager app.

Lyric Writer Pro also includes a playlist manager which can be used to create an unlimited number of playlists which contain songs that may be rearranged.

Please note, that this app functionally works best on tablets (bigger screen), so please try out Lyric Writer(Free Version) first if you are using an android phone.
