Started with Neo products and then added Rec products that weren't available on the neo line (outdoor plugs and light bulbs). About a year ago the neo app stopped working on androids, but the rec app still seemed to. Unfortunately new devices can't be added on android OS 10 & 11. However, I discovered a workaround. Download the RITTIG app by Ankuoo, and it does allow you to add new devices (though may require restarting between additions). The newly added devices also appear in Rec app.

This app works instead of the Rec app or Ankuoo apps. My wifi light switch works perfectly now.
