Its OK. It gives a very Rough idea of what something will look like if you squint and use imagination. I think its enough to make a decision on. Could do better: choose an existing colour sample with dropper icon, choose a colour by panetone or values, zoom option, AR option..

Works great. Earlier would have a difficult time, looking at paint brochures, trying to visualize what a room might look like, whether it would match the floor. Sometines I've chosen shades which I'd later regret. This app helps prevent that. It gives me a good idea what the room is gonna look like. It is indispensable for painters.

I have pale green walls and wanted to see what it would look like having cream or off-white walls. All this app did was blend the colors and turned my walls baby blue. And no, adjusting the brightness is not a solution! All that does is remove the shadows and make it too flat to get any real idea of how it should look. Instead of making ridiculous suggestions, fix the app!! Uninstalling. Edit: The developer responded with: "Yes, ridiculous suggestions like following the directions," and then I guess they decided to change it to a slightly less snarky response below lol. Lots of reviews on here have the same issue, so maybe instead of telling people to increase the brightness (again, does NOT work - tried it), fix it so the chosen color is actually the color that appears on the wall. It might be worth noting that if multiple people have the same issue, it's probably the app that sucks. But I think your poor reviews and terrible customer service is already an indication of that anyway. Edit 2: Third response from the "developer" below (triggered much?). I don't care if you think this is a fake review LOL people can literally download the app to see the problem if they want.

The app has a good range of colours, the main issue that I have is the brush tool is quite unwieldy. What I think could be quite good would be a zoom ability. I think this could help with the accuracy. One thing that I really like is that the colours don't block out the areas that light hits. So if you put a colour down then where light touches in the image will be lighter and vice versa. Just the accuracy issue puts me a little off as the end product is almost good enough to show off.

NO MORE RISKING TIME AND FINANCIAL WASTE as you "hope" your newly painted area comes even slightly close to how you see it in your head. Everything I was looking for exactly in a very fluidly designed and easy to interact with app that is free. Already helped immensely in my own life and others. Like to take pictures of places and redesign them. See what it would be like without actually spending the time or the money to find out the hard way lol

About this app

See how new colors would look on your walls before you paint!

Finding the right color for a room can be a challenge, but Paint Tester shows you the results without all the pain of painting and repainting! Know what you're getting in to before the first drop of paint touches the walls.

Paint Tester's variety of tools and smart paint bucket make it easy to change the wall color in a picture in a matter of seconds!

Start by taking a picture of the room you'd like to paint, then use the paint bucket to apply colors to the walls. In a well lit photo, the smart paint bucket will color the wall without bleeding on to neighboring walls or the ceiling. This gives you the control to get a clean picture of how the color would look, and you can even use multiple colors at the same time to try an accent wall!

If you didn't like how the first color looks, use the color picker to choose another, and just tap with the paint bucket to replace it!
