Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Powerball & MegaMillions Scan on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Powerball & Mega Millions Ticker Scanner & Checker

BETA NOTE: If your state prints tickets with non-solid white backgrounds, or contains images/colors in the background, the scan functionality is more likely to not work. Currently working on improving the scanning for these tickets.

We currently support Scanning & Checking Mega Millions and Powerball lottery tickets only. You can use your camera to take a picture of the ticket, and that's it! It will find the winning numbers for that drawing and compare them with your numbers!

Do you want to scan your tickets ahead of time? No problem! You can save your ticket scan and get notified when the Mega Millions or Powerball drawings come out!

NOTE: ALWAYS double-check the results, currently still early in beta.

BETA NOTE: If your state prints tickets with non-white backgrounds or background images, the scanning functionality will not work too well for now. We're now adding the ability to edit/add entries manually.
