It could not find my device, even when I opened the app on my phone and tried to locate it when it is on the same Wi-Fi network as the device that I was searching from. It offers a false sense of security. Test it before you rely on it. I have since disconnected my phone and downloaded another app. But after Lookout responded to this review, I reconnected to their app and it works now. I will test it out for a few weeks.

This Lookout app is a rip-off for $40 they don't even let you test it for the 30 days as indicated!! They take the $40 IMMEDIATELY!! As a matter of fact the deal was for $39.99!! They don't have the right to steal my penny either!! I live in the United States of America always have always will!!! LOOKOUT IS A SCAM! PRE/PLUS ALLOWS SPYWARE, SPAM, MALWARE, AND EVERY DAMN THING ELSE!!! THEY GET THEIRS AND TO HELL W/THE SUB. THE INS. CO.!! PHONY!! HNI...BS!! THEY DO NADA!! DEACTIVATE MONITORING

I don't normally write reviews, but I absolutely had to put this out there for this app/security software! Lookout is worth what you pay for the premium account hands down. My wife and I were out of town and someone attempted to steal her phone, I activated the find my phone feature and it pin pointed where the phone was and the scream was loud enough for me to hear it in a casino! Let's just say lookout saved me a $200 insurance claim deductible plus the inconvenience of not having a phone.

I have had it for years. I use to be able to get on wifi no problems. But for last year or so I have to disconnect it in order to get on. Now when I disconnect it then it reconnects it wont let me connect to the web with my mobile connection. I looked on the web and apparently this is an ongoing issue with andriod phones. The only reason I keep it is because it does an ok job of locating and the other person on the plan keeps losing their phone. But i am looking for something else.

Excellent! Have been using it for over 9 years. On multiple devices. "Bang for your Buck" .. sounds "cliche". But it is just exactly that, even all the way up to premium and premium plus plans. You get outstanding coverage for little to nothing in price. From the notifications that warn you of risk wear, to the alerts about privacy breaches. And the wonderful high pitch "SCREAM" function. That locates your missing/stolen device THIS APP DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. SIMPLY, IT PROTECTS!

On your website (In the FAQ) it states that at the end of a free premium trial, you will revert to the free version and not be charged without permission. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN, and I was NEVER NOTIFIED OR WARNED that I was to be charged for premium. I expect a refund as I was charged wrongly. Edit: I believe Google is refunding the money, however I'll update when I know why I was charged as stated
