Unfortunately unhelpful. I want to say that the user interface was great; clean, easy to use, and very responsive! I feel like it would have been perfect, but the problem is that the info it has on the actual candidates (at least, the ones where I live, in Ohio) is so limited that it doesn't actually give me any new information at all. The only thing the app actually knew was what political party they represented, and the actual voting ballot can do that much for me. It was a shame because I feel like it defeated the purpose of the app; why enter my stances on all of these issues if it doesn't tell me the stances of the people I'm voting on?

Im giving this 5 stars because we NEED this app. I actually had talked with a business partner about trying to create this a few years ago, and I'm so happy to see someone else did. There are a few things that I think need to be adjusted, though. When stating your stances, the system for "agree, strongly agree" doesn't have enough room for people's nuanced positions on the issues. I think it would be better if you presented a statement, then asked "strongly disagree, disagree, no opinion, agree, strongly agree". Because of the current system, I felt like I couldn't actually record my stance on a few things, even though they were important to me. Another thing I think would be a good idea to do is separating what party you're registered with from where your support mainly is. For example, I'm registered as a Democrat for primary elections, and therefore the app assumed I'm a supporter of the Democratic party, but I don't actually support the Dems. I know a lot of people in America feel the same way. Overall, great app, works well, just needs a few things to help voters express their stances. I'll definitely be using this in the midterms, thanks!

Easy to use resource that comes in handy. Now I can use this instead of writing down who/what I plan to vote for. Helps research my choices too.
