About this app

Ukulele Toolbox is a collection of the three essential tools you need to learn ukulele: a metronome, a ukulele tuner and a chord library. This free app is designed with simplicity in mind, providing a clear and easy-to-use interface to accommodate beginner ukulele players.

The free ukulele tuner will work with any type of ukulele by using your smartphone’s integrated microphone, while staying perfectly accurate.
You can set it up to auto-detect which string you’re playing for a hands-free tuning experience.
You’ll also find more than 10 alternate tunings if you want to play with a soprano ukulele, or if you'd rather go with a baritone ukulele we have that too!
If that's not enough, you can always switch to chromatic mode in order to tune your ukulele any way you want.
And if you prefer, you can just listen to every string and tune by ear, like a true professional ukulele player!

The metronome will allow you to keep time with professional precision. Choose any tempo of your liking, adjust the number of beats as well as subdivisions and just hit play. It’s a perfect companion to practice ukulele, whether you want to learn songs or are just going through your daily exercises. You can also have the metronome running in the background while you’re using other apps, and keep control over it thanks to a handy notification.

The chord library contains more than 2000 different position for 30+ types of chords. From the basic major, minor and power chords to the more complex altered chords found in jazz, you’ll find them all, including those dreaded barre chords. The fingering is shown for every position in a clear color-coded way, making it easy to figure out how to play each chord.
