Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Signal Notification (Free) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. The dBm signal does not refresh in real time, no matter what permissions we give. I verified it by going to the About->Status-> SIM-> Signal option. Both values are different. While the app is nifty and is probably the only available to show dBm in status bar, the developer should seriously be able to overcome this bug and let the signal refresh in real-time

Worked great with Nougat but not with Oreo. On the status bar it shows a number which never changes. On my notifications it shows the same number and below that it shows zero, just like the widget shows. Surprisingly the old v1.38 works great! I wish the widget showed more than a number though. Always save your old apks :)

i really luv this app. i have shi**y service/signal, i only get about 1 tuh 2 bars of signal in general wherever i am mostly at, and this app along with a few others i have installed, puts FULL reception bars at the top left corner of my screen and they r ALWAYS full bars no matter what! so i ALWAYS have terrific signal now! thank U developers! all these apps themselves definitely increase my signal strength way up! i never have a problem with crappy signal anymore

👍👍 EXCELLENT! I usually wait > 1 month b4 giving a review but this app really impressed me in 3 major ways right out of the gate. #1, ONLY 1 PERMISSION NEEDED! WOW! #2, No Signal-Read so per instructions I tapped the "Toggle-method" & voilà, worked like a charm. #3, compared it to other leading signal apps & found it to be accurate with the fastest refresh rate, so u don't have to move ur phone in super-slow motion to find the sweet-spot. 2-thumbs way up!

No Ads, simple interface. Did I mention, No Ads?! My only complaint, indicator doesn't seem to fluctuate much, which makes me wonder if it is accurately measuring signal strength. Samsung S9+. Android 10

This app is installed on a Google Pixel 2 XL running Android 9. Its display comes up largely unreadable. It displays a solid square in the notificationd bar with no information displayed. Im not sure what I'm doing wrong.

About this app

Put your signal strength dBm level in your status bar or on your home screen. This app lets you see at a glance what your signal strength is. Many times the signal bars built into android just aren't accurate. Now you can know for sure what you signal is.

Widget Text available in 3 colors.

This version is a sample of our paid version. Paid version includes additional signal strength widgets and many more options to customize.

In order to use widget only you need to first turn on the notification once and then it can be turned off.
