This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Quick Volume Control on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

My volume buttons broke on my pixel 3a so needed an app for giving me volume control quick. Not a big fan of floaters on my screen so I gave this a go and works really well. Customisable to go sleek with my colour scheme and was just a simple 1 time purchase. Highly recommend if you need simple volume control.

Fantastic so far! My ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 volume up stopped working after I got my display unit replaced. The ASC person said the motherboard has to be replaced if it has to work again! Got this as a very affordable alternative than to replace motherboard. Couple of things to the developer/team, 1. Find some way to get the app., started automatically whenever mobile is restarted or powered on after shutdown. 2. It would be an even better idea to add Power Button functions as well!

Nice but has a few flaws... 1) you can turn off the notification icon BUT it still takes a notification space so there is just an empty space still taking up room where the icon would be 2) the padding on the left right edges leaves the icons uncomfortably close to the phones edges.

Convenient to use, more useful than factory buttons. Waiting for the fix for the status bar alert icon notification that dosen't really go away when supposed to.

I wanted a simple quick link to my notification volume. This makes it quicker to change the notification volume than going via Settings. I paid for the updated app also which allows customization of the colors on the slider bar. Note that you get a menu which offers all the volume controls and you can add or subtract which ones you want to see when you click the app. I have this shortcut on my 2nd home screen. App does what I needed and no other app I tried was this simple.

Only just started using it but very impressed. Tried a few but this is the best. So nice to be able to turn down video volume easily.
