Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mi Band Notifier on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

I'm sorry to say but this app is not working. Whenever I try to use it out test vibrates it crashes. Solutions please

When I try to light up the bracelet, my phone says "unfortunately the app has stopped working"

It was working great until the recent updated firmware. Light notification still works but it no longer vibrates.

It is paired with mi fit app. When tried to connect over Bluetooth pairing not ble to see if that was the problem... still didn't work

Says mi band is not paired. But paired with mi fit application 1.8.711

About this app

Last known working firmware version: 1.0.9.65

This app currently only works with the Mi Band, and requires the main app to be installed and paired with the band - as the band is not discoverable once paired.

The app currently only works with Lollipop due to significant incompatible changes in the BLE stack, there are no immediate plans to change this.

Disclaimer: This app is in no way associated with Xiaomi. This app includes no warranty for your device, in my testing I've never bricked my band - but as I'm reverse engineering their API, it's entirely possible, albeit unlikely.
