Occasionally it manages to decode some numbers, but the numbers don't match any known codes.

Great idea, poorly executed. It continuously gives codes it knows nothing about or return nothing when googled.

EDIT : Apparently only for selected models even though others use these tones so A+ Lenovo on using error tones and supplying no way of deciphering them. P. S. My model is one of the selected ones and it still didn't work. But the developer response is super helpful.

used the app, allowed the app access to the phone's recorder and it still had nothing. it loads fast and UI is simple enough to understand. could've been a Thinkpad or Rosewill keyboard malfunction, meh i dunno....
