About this app

Remote control PAULA- your Personal Automated Lab Assistant - a smart digital imager dedicated for routine tasks in the cell culture lab. The PAULA App allows you to operate the digital imager remotely with your Android tablet. It provides the possibility to conveniently monitor and document your cells. For larger through-put a barcode reader in the housing of PAULA can be used to scan and identify securely large numbers of cell culture flasks. All data are well organized in an integrated data base and can be shared with supervisors and colleagues if desired.
The smart imager PAULA can be placed wherever needed- on the lab bench, under the hood and even in the incubator. This allows to monitor cells over time and to perform cell based assays like confluence evaluation. A smart user management enables PAULA to store and recall user specific settings and ensures reproducibility of results – thus enabling a profound standardization of the cell culture workflow.
