This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Contacts Sync (requires ROOT) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Works as advertised! Sync on schedule would've been a nice addition, but I understand why it's not implemented. In TrueCaller, sometimes I need to open the contact for the picture to sync, but that's probably some issue on the TrueCaller end (not refreshing its cache or something). Overall, this is a great app :)

I factory reset my phone and rooted it again and gave this app a try and it does work now, i don't know why i was having problems, i think superuser was not letting other apps use the root besides the ones that i had already gave the permission. If you could make this app work with Instagram and Facebook it would be perfect

Does the Job. It takes, long, but will ultimately be successful. I would give it 4 stars because its so slow, but I as a developer cant think about a way to get it faster either. You only need to do it like every few months, so it does not really matter, this is why the rating in the end became 5

Initially the app showed no contacts. But after a few days when I opened it it showed all of them. The only request is that it would be helpful if there was a side by side comparison for available photos and existing photos.

It's exactly what I need and it does it's job in the best way. Anyway I have 2 whatsapp and I need to sync my other whatsapp (GBWhatsaap) contacts too. If the developer can add an option that the app opens GBWhatsaap instead of default whatsapp، it will be the best.

About this app

Uses root to sync your address book with high-quality contacts photos.
This way, during calls and inside the address book app, you could see who you are talking to!

The operation is almost entirely automatic, and you can choose which contacts to avoid syncing.

Disclaimer:
The app does what you can do anyway by yourself: get photos from folders that are accessible via root and later set each to the person in the address book, just like on any file-manager app (that has root capabilities).
