As other have said it relies on scanning a QR Code which is supposed to be sent by email, however this is made difficult as you are likely to be using the same device as you check emails with. A magic link would be a better option. The QR also did not render on 3 devices that I tried, I had to send the email to my wife to open the QR Code link on her iPad so I could scan on android! Another issue: The help video is apple centric too "iPhone this... ipad that" instead of "Device"

The link I was sent first asks you to install this app, and then the app asks you to scan a QR code. After a long time of trying to find one, I clicked the link again. You need to click it on a different device to your phone. There were no instructions for this. The app doesn't give good advice about how far away from the mirror to stand, and surely that is extremely important for measuring distance. When it gets to taking the picture it instantly sends it without confirmation. GDPR nightmare

Open your opticians email on desktop or laptop, not your phone, otherwise you don't get the QR CODE, (which you then have to scan with your phone or tablet). Took me a few goes to work this out. Also the app kept stalling. Keep at it, it does seem to take a long, long time but gets there in the end.

Just wasted an hour of my life trying to get this pile of sh*te working on my android. The download and install QR code only works on a laptop but the app needs it again to log you in to Mira cloud on your phone which doesn't work. Permissions just flashup and go without getting user input. Don't waste your time. Not even worth 1 star. Ask your optician to write your PD on your next prescription or get a PD ruler and do it yourself. Uninstalled

The app is good and gives all the easy to follow instructions on how to use, however when I first installed it I was getting the Scan QR code, and could I like hek find were this QR code, and notthing was mentioned in any of the e-mails from the opticians. And then after re-reading the app, I wondered about the quite large "Lets Get Your Measurement" square above the "Get App" button. Once I clicked on the "Lets Get Your Measurement" a QR code was given and every thing from then on was perfect. From reading other App Reviews, it appears others are having the same problem, I'd recommend that the opticians make it more clear in there e-mails were to click to get the code

Measurement failled due to samsung s8 phone not supported. No warning at purchase what device is supported. Not list of supported devices is available as far as i could see on mira website. Support appears to be responsive at this stage. Will review rating potentially later depending on the outcome of on going email exchange. I would suggest people considering checking their device is supported prior committing any purchase.
