This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing StairCalc on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. It doesn't give you the stringer length.

I agree. The only angle I get is 90. None of these stair apps work. Guess we are all still doing longhand. If you already know the drop, tread, and riser numbers then you don't need an app

Does not calculate stringer length or any angles. Produces bizarre results, like 90 degree stair angle.

Enter your measurement from floor to floor and start building stairs. Great for construction workers or anyone else who builds stairs. You can also enter your desired tread measurement and it will give the angle in degrees.

(If you don't enter a tread number the angle will be 90)
