About this app

Fertilizer calculator application is developed for the benefit of farming community as well as for academicians, scientists, extension personnel, students of undergraduates and postgraduates in agriculture. This app covers complete nutrient management of major crops in agriculture and vegetable crops like chilli and onion. It totally covers 21 crops. Now a day’s farmers are slowly getting knowledge about soil health and importance of soil testing. But after getting soil test report they are unaware of its interpretation and use of STBF accordingly. Hence this app imparts knowledge in Soil test based fertilizer application as well as Recommended dose of fertilizer for different crops which helps in use of crop specific correct dose of fertilizers in the form of direct or complex fertilizer forms to reduce the indiscriminate and excessive use so as to reduce the cost of cultivation and to avoid the soil pollution.
This app mainly has two parts. One part covers recommended dose fertilizers for Andhra Pradesh state, if soil test results are not available with farmers and the other part covers soil test based fertilizer application in different combinations based on interpretation of soil test values available with him.
