The only metal it appeared to detect is iron, like cast iron. My magnetic detection in phone are all working excellent and calibrated. Holding over the stove with cast iron grates it did as expected working up to 70+ at 12 inches. Holding over so dishwasher and tin masher and dryer it stayes 28 to 32. Would be a lot better if there was some sort of link to text that tells a little bit about. Its what most new apps are missing nowadays.

It will let you know if your fork/spoon that your eating with is metal. I might get that Corona viruses if I use a plastic spoon/fork to eat with. It can't find nails in a wall. My fire extinguishers are metal but now I'm not sure if they are metal. I promise all I'm saying is that I'm glad my spoons/knifes/forks are metal 🤞👎.

this app is gâhBhaj zero stars isnt a valid entry so it gets one... perhaps I'm not I'm not using it correctly but I held it next to metal devices and it registered in the high forties and I held it next to only plastic devices and it registered in the low 40s. I'm talking a range of 43 to 44 up to 48 Max despite the ranges that are listed as Max and Min in the application reader. Perhaps it would be a good idea to put a tutorial in the beginning to show people how to properly use it
