This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EnergyCycles on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Energy Cycle App covers four major energy conversion cycles to facilitate as a tool for performing energy efficiency studies. This also can be very helpful to energy engineers and auditors in assessing the cycle performances with respect to sizing and conversion efficiencies. App generates following generic models two under utility power generation category and two under HVAC category as shown in the screen shots. Each can be tailored to suits individual application and can be saved in a file for continuous reference and to monitor the change and improvement.

Cycle efficiency and total cycle heat is displayed in the home screen along with state properties. For HVAC, a separate section is added as a part of conditioned space for editing cooling and heating load under 10 major categories as shown in the screen shot. A separate edit section is provided for the users to select and compute load under each category using recommended parameters. Each user specific cycles can be saved for future review and analysis.
