This app used to be perfect. Now it refuses to let me log into Google, Dropbox, nor Box. Every time it tells me I haven't set up/logged into an account for Google. It gives me that error when I try to log in, so it's a catch-22. I was able to backup the data on my other phone, but restoring it is now impossible on any new ones due to the inability to log in. It gives me an error during backup and has no option to restore. Old APKs were a work around and were fine, but now I can't install themπ

The app was a waste of time. I followed the desktop usb pairing successfully. The app will not let you select which internal storage, so I must assume it will go to Phone memory, not the 128gb sd card.. brilliant. In any event, it chokes on every single app, sends a ticket to Clockworkmod, then chokes on the next app.. rinse repeat. This is not even beta quality software. Good thing I did not have to buy it find that out. Better luck next time?

I have Backup all app data using method specified. It was successfulThen I formatted my android. Then i tried to restore my backup. "Error occurred while trying to restore data". Now all of my data is still there but i cannot restore it. Even if there was written restore successful in one app but still when open i have to open new account.

Better than nothing for a non-rooted phone. But backup/restore is hit-or-miss per each individual app. I would **Guess** this is looking for and saving/restoring from some google API guideline standard of where apps should be storing their data, but it seems many apps [typically games] don't follow this (possibly to thward cheating). As a result many of your apps data will not be backed up with this app.

This app is useful, but is difficult to use. The device must constantly remain plugged into a computer. If the device gets unplugged, the app will still appear to work, but all operations will fail. Sometimes when restoring a backup, Helium erases an app's data instead of restoring it. Sometimes I have to try an operation many times before it works. I would like an option to edit the contents of a backup file and then restore the backup when saving the file, just like browsing a folder.

Trying to go from a (rooted) Galaxy Note 4 to an (unrootable) S7 Edge. The "Internal" option saved to the phone's internal storage, not the card, so I'm kind of scratching my head how that's even useful. I got around it by copying the resulting backup directory to the card manually, and then copying it to the internal storage of the target phone. Helium proceeded to perform the restore, but nothing appeared on the S7 Edge. Requiring a closed-source PC binary to "enable" it is also kinda iffy.
