About this app

Torque Wrench (bolts load clamping) is a app that lists the values for preload, torque and broken strength of both metric and inch bolts, taking into account all classes of resistance. The function of the app is very simple: we first set the size of the bolt, and then the resistance class (and not the opposite as for each dimension there is a number of classes of different strength). All torques (Nm) and the tensile forces (N) correspond to standard values imposed by standard DIN 13. Use of a yield force of 90% (coefficient of friction 0.14) on new bolt and not lubricated. It is advisable to reduce the tightening torque of 20% when making the lubrication MOS2 (or similar), especially for surfaces cadmium plated or treated. The value of the tightening torque for bolts with fine pitch is equal to the coarse pitch increased by 5%.
