This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Consult: Secure Print on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. In a Consult: Secure Print environment, employees walk up to their chosen printer and use their Consult: Secure Print mobile release app on their mobile device to authenticate and release (print) their documents. This simple workflow ensures that the document owner is present at the device when it’s printed. This prevents sensitive information from being left unattended on printer output trays.

Consult: Secure Print also improves convenience for employees by allowing them to release their documents to any secure printer on the network. It’s a cloud solution so there is no need to configure and maintain print servers and drivers.

NOTE: This app requires a Consult: Secure Print account for use.

How to use the app:

1. Register the app using the Consult: Secure Print Setup Guide provided by your organization.
2. Print as you normally do from your workstation.
3. Open the Consult: Secure Print mobile release app.
4. Walk up to any printer secure via Consult: Secure Print and scan the barcode on the device.
5. Your document(s) will print immediately.
