This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Wireless Heatmap on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Can you imagine today's world without Internet and wireless.But, everyone is screaming about the wireless connectivity. This easy to use app is must for every home and every professional working in the WiFi industry. Our innovative app quickly finds the Wi-Fi signal coverage in your home, office, industry or commercial spaces. You can load your floor plan and place pin head with the RSSI value. Your pin head will change the color based on the settings made by the user. Configure your own Green, Yellow or Red Zone with the combination of RSSI and Interference. The App will change the color based on your setting.
Just open the app and roam around your home or office. Where the indicator color turns to Red will be the weakest coverage and you can place additional Access Points there.
Users can also store the results for future purposes. They can edit the existing result and add additional survey.
The great advantage is multiple technicians and users can collaborate. They can all push the results in the centralized server, where engineers can see the results remotely over web interface.
Just follow the steps to use the app.
1.Download and Install this lightweight app
2.Open the App and Load the Floor Plan from your Gallery
3.Press the Wi-Fi Icon to choose the required Access Point in your home or office. The app will list all the available Access Points SSID. Choose the Access Point, the one you want to find the signal strength.
4.Now Place your Access Point in the Floor plan. Just tap your finger on the location, where your Access Point is placed.
5.Next , you can change the settings on your Green / Yellow / Red Zone. Go to Settings in the menu and change the range for Green/Yellow/Red. If you choose the Green Zone as 35. Yellow as 65 and Red as 95, the app will treat Green Zone as 0 to -35dBm. Yellow zone as -36 to -65dBm and Red zone as -66 to -95dBm. Also, you can set max interference in each zone. If you set the Green zone as 10 interferences, then the app will take Green zone as the combination of signal strength and interferences. If any one of the parameter met, then it will glow accordingly.
6. Now, you are ready to start the survey. Go to menu and click Start Survey. The app will capture the signal strength, Channel numbers, Number of Access Points in the location.
