Too technical for me. I don't know port numbers and video paths. Maybe should consider and auto detect option for dummies like me.

I use my Lenovo tablet to keep track of my cameras. I like the option to cycle through my cameras.

Liking this newer update. My parents got a puppy so I've been amusing myself watching her tear around their house. Got some nice snaps of her attacking the curtains. There was a video flicker bug on my Android 9 tablet but it was fixed within 3 days.

Thought I'd update my review since it's been awhile and we're STILL STUCK AT HOME. Still checking cameras every day. No problems. Bored.

Installed this to watch my doorbell camera and keep an eye on my workshop. So far so good.

Didn't connect to any of my cameras

About this app

Use the Hyakume app to easily view and record IP camera H.264 and MJPEG video streams.

Hyakume supports a wide range of IP cameras (security, surveillance, doorbell, baby/pet monitors, webcams, traffic, weather, etc.).

The Free starter version features a single Camera list holding up to ten Camera entries.

The Paid version supports ten Camera lists and 100 Camera entries. Create separate Camera lists for your home, business, workshop, etc.

To create a Camera entry, you'll need to know a camera's IPv4 address, video stream path, format, and port
(example: 192.168.10.201, /video/h264, h246, 554).

The ONVIF device discovery tool can locate ONVIF-compliant IP cameras on the local network or subnet.

Camera entries in the active Camera list are regularly polled. If a Camera is reachable, it displays a polling timestamp and thumbnail image.

Tap a Camera to view its live video stream. You can record the video, capture snapshot images, and view the video full-screen.

The video and image files are retained for review, archiving and sharing.

Enable Relay Server mode to allow Android devices and desktop/mobile browsers to remotely access local cameras.

Remote access is FREE; all it requires is a spare Android device and a decent Internet connection.
