This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ProximityCat on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

ProximityCat allows you to control your smartphone using the proximity sensor.
Set the "combos" (combination of long or fast occultations of the sensor).
Associate combos with an application.
You can associate a vibration, a sound or a confirmation to launch an application via ProximityCat.
You can set the detection time of a combo, the durations of long and short occultations.
You can even put ProximityCat standby via a combo with the parameter (data) value set to "com.k2.set/off."

Note: autorun at startup is optional
