First of all, you have to constantly disconnect and reconnect the phone to get it even connected. When you're connected, you cannot choose the media, which you want to play. The app just picks something random to play. And the best feature: the audio comes from the phone's speakers, even though android thinks it has selected the player as the audio output.

Gs8 active, when plugged in, recognized my phone 1 time of the million attempts, started playing my stock media, would not allow me to choose any other media, as the media played through my phone and not my car. Has pandora and i heart radio and neither work. Currently when plugged in, now acts like its just quick intermittently charging. Help.

Horrible. Never would connect to Iheart or Pandora, instead played my ringtones and voicemails from my phone. Would not play from my speakers and continually caused my phone to beep like it was charging.

Crashes on androids newer than 2019. Won't run at all or connect to the receiver because the app doesn't work. Edit: tried this on multiple phones and tablets. No devices connect, and as soon as you plug a phone in, the app will self close.

It doesn't work. It just keeps telling me that there is no connection and to connect usb cable, so I disconnect use different cable and same again.

Useless abandon ware just like all the other Kenwood apps. Recent versions of Android are simply not supported. There is currently no app to allow your modern Android phone to connect to your Kenwood head unit.
