first the changing pace is too fast, even if the song rhythm is super slow, so the detection needs improvements, maybe put a slider that controls the changing pace, that would at least make it usable. the second major issue is that there's no option to group, so I have 8 lamps but I can only activate music mode for one at a time, it'd be nice to send signal to all together

Very Nice App as we can change Brightness. Can you pls add option for Bass/Beat detection to change color with beats only... And the app stops changing colors automatically after 25/30 mins... Again i have to open app and Play/Pause the button to make it work... Is it a bug? Hope it will be fixed soon... Thanks! 🖤

So, description of the app is confusing and lead to frustration - it says about Yeelight device (== "any") and "somewhere inside" has a very short list of supported devices (it got really shortened during the last few hours). Also the app is able to find the lamp (unsupported too) and it makes a false hope "cool, it will work wth my lamp". So, it would be better to emphasize "RGB-capable devices only" in app's name and/or in first words/summary. And if possible - detect the type of the found Yeelight device during startup and say "sorry, it's not a RGB-capable lamp" to avoid any misusing/frustrating.

I just installed this app, and appears permission to access microphone, then i hit yes, and yeelight music is force close. I try to open again, and going force close again. Always like that.. Maybe something wrong with my yeelight app, i try to uninstall, and its still crash. Please fix. Device : Oppo A57

This music mode is much, much better than the one on the stock Yeelight app. Patiently awaiting groups support + the ability to rename bulbs/groups, but the dev has stated that this feature is being worked on.

Glad this changes brightness depending on beat. If it works on light group and mic it would be perfect. Just one question, I noticed that there is lag time for the light to change either color or brightness, is that device limitation?

About this app

Yeelight Music is now unsupported and won't get updates since its main functionality, capturing internal audio from the device, has been merged into the official Yeelight app.
Thanks to the Yeelight team for allowing me to collaborate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An improved and reliable music mode for your Yeelight devices that reacts to the beats of your songs. Customize it to your liking and say goodbye to interferences caused by voices or surrounding noises. Yeelight Music captures the internal audio from your smartphone or tablet instead of using its microphone and offers a wide variety of customization options.

· Brightness control: let the app decide the best brightness level for each beat or choose a fixed one if you prefer.
· Color control: assign any color to each of the three main frequencies or randomize it.
· Visualize how the lights react to the sound in real time through your screen and light bulbs simultaneously.

Supports:
· Yeelight LED (Color)
· Yeelight LED (White)
· Yeelight Lightstrip (Color)

Requirements:
· Smartphone/tablet and Yeelight devices connected to the same local network.
· Developer mode/LAN control enabled for each device.

Permissions:
· RECORD_AUDIO/MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: required to capture internal audio from the device and for visualization purposes. Provides partial and low quality audio content so privacy is not compromised, but it's enough to make the app work reliably.
· WAKE_LOCK: required to ensure that the app functions as expected even when running in the background or with the screen off. Wakelocks are only kept alive when music mode is running and killed automatically when leaving it or after a timeout, so they can't be abused.
· Internet related permissions: allows the application to discover devices automatically and allows the music mode to communicate with the bulb.

New features

· Added a button to toggle on device effects.
· The light will be dimmed if music is paused.
· Improved beat detection logic and response time.
· Updated some UI elements and fixed some animations.
