It looks miles better than habitica. I hope the dev is still actively updating this app. I will be updating this review after I used it longer for its functionality. No gamified to-do list has done it right yet. But this one is heading to a real good start. One thing that can be improved on right off the bat -- put the full screen button away from the main page's bottom. Move it to the hamburger menu. It's in the way of the list.

Very engaging todo app. Does the basics task completion, reminders, alarms, and archive. What really sets this app apart is the gamification of the todos. You level up and work your way through different quests (Qwests?) and are rewarded with new items and new skills. Even has a casino full of mini-games to earn extra points. Art style is very unique and polished. Great App!

Could use a bit more functionality, like repeating tasks or lists and scheduling. It's a lot more fun than Habitica, but unfortunately their usability keeps me there.

Playful and random. Not practical nor motivating though

About this app

Qwestr is a weird, powerful, productivity game. It can most succinctly be described as:
¼ to-dolist
¼ graphic novel
¼ item based rpg
¼ mini-games

At its core, Qwestr is a standard to-do list app, it’s familiar. You enter tasks to do at the top and you mark them done by swiping them to the right. It’s after things are marked done that the Qwestr Miracle Cycle of Unkowning Productivity begins. The cycle has six steps:

Complete - Mark off items as you get them done.
Progress - Make your way through twenty levels of weird adventure!
Earn - Spend currencies you earn by completing items at the in-game Casino.
Play - Six different mini-games give you different prizes.
Match - Each time you match weapons, you win an item!
Equip - When equipped, items not only give you more currencies, they can change the way the game is played!

Qwestr. Productivity just got weird!
