About this app

Here I Am can help you find your phone if you are within shouting distance of it by sending it a specific text. The program has to be launched to become active. It is most useful when you misplace your device when you are within shouting distance of it, and you do not use sound notifications for anything.

To make it simple, send a specific query text (that defaults to ‘where r u’) to the device, and it will respond as loud as it can with a specific reply (that defaults to ‘Here I Am’) every 5 seconds (the configurable default) until the Found It button is pressed (also configurable).

You can also send an email to your phone with the query text in the subject line that will be received as a text if your provider supports this. For example in the US for most Verizon users, the email address that will be received as text for 123-456-7890 is 1234567890@vtext.com.

New features

Layout should look better on more devices.
