the hiragana cannot be written alone without forced autocorrection of it into kanji, albeit the disabled autocorrection option in the settings menu. (disabling it only impacts the English keyboard、but not the Japanese for some reason) Tried adding arrows so one would manually just move on to the right of the currently spelled character, however. doing so resulted in a bug, in which the cursor jumped to the previous row, or to the row just above the current row.

I just downloaded this specific Japanese Go keyboard; I have used Go before, for years, on various phones. Go is one of my 3 favourites of all I've used. I am sure this will be a real bonding experience.

It's not how flicking works on Japanese key board. Basically I'm satisfied with go keyboard in any other languages. But just because of this stuff, I'm using G board now. Fix this!
