Can somebody put me through how this works because I have scanned a QR code and it's just not leaving the same page. I guess it's supposed to navigate to all chats from the other phone but nothing of such.

Not too good for me. The other user gets a notification that WhatsApp web is active. So the idea of monitoring the other person has been defeated.
