It's not pretty but neither are the rules it's made to present. UI is fantastically simple and elegant, search function could use some improvement but is overall pretty good. I use this app on a regular basis and it's honestly one of the best apps on my phone

Not magic the gathering, the game. Having the rules on hand proved to be very handy when playing against cheating lawyers. And the developer is very dedicated. Kudos!

VERY USEFUL! For those just getting into the game, this will seem overwhelming, but for experienced players of it this app is very handy, especially when your opponent or team mate is unsure about the legality of some of the finer aspects of the game. 10 out of 10 strongly recommend for players w/ 2+ years of experience or more. There is never such a thing as too much detail in MTG. (@ one of the reviews) MTG is a very complex game with decks that can be as unique as the people that made them.

this is exactly what i have been looking for. it has a complete transcript of all official mtg rules and the searchbar to take me to these rules works seamlessly. i heavily reccommend as a quick and easy portable rulebook.
