Love the idea but requiring a prompt for all the actions kind of ruins the whole point of automation - just because iOS requires a prompt doesn't mean the Android app should too. The UI would really shine with material design and not designed to match iOS. The settings page font size is awkwardly small. So far connectivity seems to be OK, will be testing a lot more over the next few days.

Honestly this $60 device is useless to my incredibly huge smart home network... doesn't do anything helpful.

Ifttt integration could be more clear, I didn't know whether you wanted my signul account our my ifttt credentials. Also, my firmware (4) doesn't seem to be able to upgrade to 6. It says my signul needs to be closer.

About this app

The SIGNUL App makes it easy to create context using SIGNUL beacons. The best part, it’s dead simple! Place Signuls out in the world and then tell the App what you want to happen when you encounter them.

So what can you do?

Display an alert message (and share it with other Signul users!)
Launch an App
Open a URL
Start a text message
Start a Tweet
Start a Facebook post
Start an email message
Start a call
Play a sound

Reactions are based on zone entries or exits and can be active only during certain periods of time.

Also, now you can connect your SIGNUL beacons to IFTTT (If This Then That) and use them to trigger a whole host of reactions across the wide array of services supported by IFTTT.

* Requires devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy).
