No experiance for me because I didnt use this app and I cant write like anything like 'A QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPED OVER A VERY LAZY DOG.' It has 26 alphabets of English. And I cant write 500 letters only somtimes I will write 500 letters in that itself so many gap and comma and full stops are there. This phone is very slow. So screen hider will download very slowly only this time itself only 395 letters I mean there are I mean I wrote 439 letters. So I am stopping my writing with a fullstop thanks.

The description says you can unhide the screen by double tapping, but it doesn't work. The default overlay is dark, but not actually black. Also, hiding the screen takes you out of the current activity, so it's no more convenient than just locking the phone.
