This app is janky and not very useful for monitoring you systems state of charge, power draw, etc, which seems to have lead to bad reviews. But for monitoring how balanced your cells are and setting custom bms settings it is excellent. You can change the charge temperature cutoff to 0 degrees for lifepo4 and change the balance start differential voltage to better balance cells, which instantly makes these daly bms's a much better bms. Worth the jank just for those settings imo.

The manual is abysmally low content and contains no information that youi can't discover by playing around with the hardware. The app says 32 bit, really? is that going to work on 64 but? The UART "seems" to connect via 9600 baud but sadly the GUI is completely dysfunctional. Can't do anything with this. Can't even tell if it is conneted. The .exe is so badly crafted that the only way to shut it down is with task manager. Don't waste your money. They have virtually NO support for users. Wish I could give no stars.

app works ... but I will get some old pc to monitor my system because I dont ever want to use location service on my dumb phone .... but Android requires location services permission to connect to low energy bluetooth devices. Same goes for Victron smart solar devices, so I use Ve_ direkt to usb instead.

So I went to open this app and was presented with a privacy disclosure explaining that location permissions are used and apparently required so called to better serve the user. I do not believe that. Apparently someone needs to know where my batteries are? The app doesn't need to know where on the planet I am in order to make a local bluetooth connection but apparently someone else does? Strange.

It works but limited information, no history or recording of amps/volts in and out. I was able to change the settings however which is very helpful.

Chinese to English translation is not perfect and some more info surrounding the settings would be great but otherwise works pretty flawlessly and provides a heap of info. Be nice if tracked the amp hour use though.
