About this app

The Ethiopian Virtual Keyboard has the following main features.
• You DON'T NEED to root your android-powered device to install and use this application.
• Multi-language support: The current version supports only Geez and English. I will add support for more Ethiopian languages in the next release of the application.
• User Dictionary: This will help you add/store the words (either manually or automatically added) to the user dictionary. An option is provided in the keyboard settings where you can set the number of times to type a word before it is added to the user dictionary. For example, you can set it to something like 2 or 3 …etc.
    • You can Edit/Delete words in your dictionary.
    • You can also import/export words to/from your favourite text editor.
    • Dictionary language is the same as your keyboard’s language.
• Word suggestion: This will display suggested words where you can choose from while typing (mainly from your user dictionary). This is a cool feature for people who can’t type very fast.
• Smart auto-completion: This is again mainly from your dictionary.
• Skin: This will enable you to change the appearance of your keyboard (For example, you can choose appearances of Android, iPhone, HTC and Light).
• Swipe: It is a swipe-enabled keyboard app.
• Auto-Capitalization: This feature is for English keyboard users. Ethiopia alphabets are already capitalized.
