As a BBQ app it's lacking. And Android notifications don't work unless the screen is on which is fairly useless. Setting the app to not be battery optimized doesn't help, and there isn't a way to tell the app to never sleep. Also no persistent notification so to see a probe temp you have to launch the app. On the plus side, the temp readout I've found to be accurate, it's easy to set your own ranges and warnings/notifications.

Works perfectly for me, I do not see why we have many bad reviews. Only thing I would improve is the intelligence of the fan control software as it sometimes slightly overshoots. In addition, please add a feature to the BBQ mode to be able to customize the size of the Kamado I am using. My smallest Kamado is only 13" I. e a lower max fan speed would help avoiding overshoots. Simply said, add a max fan speed option to the menu. Thanks a million.

Figured out how to connect it to network in about 40 minutes. When the app says you have to put the device close to the router, it really mean that. I'm giving 4 star because it takes quite a a while to load the app and then the device in the app. It's good. The sous vide circulator is good too.

Just trying to use the dang thermometer and can't get it to pair. Got it to pair once, then next time I used it it wasn't paired and can't get it to pair again. Pretty much spent $100 on a device that doesn't work as advertised. Don't waste your money.

App does not generate alarms when phone is not active! Made me burn my last cook because I was counting on app to alert me when temperatures exceeds x. This makes this app pointless. Please fix

It was quite challenging to set up. Had to watch an online video. Now the device is permanently offline 😡😡, even when connected. This started with the last update.
