Pay Secure helps you to secure your financial data by securing your SMS. As these days CashLess transaction is being promoted, but cashless transaction comes with the severe security risk. PaySecure handles one of them which is SMS access, it lists all the applications which can access your SMS without your permission and for safeguarding yourself you can remove the suspicious app.

Why SMS access by any app can prove dangerous? Below is the explanation.

- Every bank transaction is completed using OTP which is the message sent by your bank to your mobile. So if a bad app knows your bank account and sends an OTP (SMS) to your mobile for money transfer and if bad app reads it. After reading SMS, a bad app can use that (OTP) SMS and your money will be gone.

- Every wallet Paytm, SBI Buddy, Mobikwik or Freecharge sends you OTP (SMS) with a code to complete the transaction. So if an app can read the OTP it can do the transaction without your permission.

- Even UPI payment system also sends you SMS for setting up things which can also be read by bad apps and do fraud.
