Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HomeStatus Display Pro on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

HomeStatus – use your Android device as an interactive display for your Home Automation System. Four in one System: Status display, switch and acoustic interaction by sounds or text to speech.

Important: You need some experience using CCU Scripting to be able to configure the display. Examples are found on our website http://homestatus.de

Works with HomeMatic© CCU1/2 from eQ3©. Needs the XML-API patch to be installed on the CCU (download it from: http://www.homematic-inside.de).

All events are directly triggered and configured by your programs in the CCU.

Define your own display grid: 1-5 columns / 1-6 rows, maximum 30 fields.
Display icons and text, text or icon only
Define actions for each display field
Play your own sounds
Send your own Text to speech

Change views, define different views for one display
Integrate IP-cameras (needs a mjpeg stream) in grid or in full-screen on the alarm screen


HomeStatus can be fully configured, you need to set variables on your CCU and define some scripts to fill the HomeStatus Display. A little knowledge about CCU scripting and configuration is needed.
