We all know that Tamil language is the oldest living language and also one of the finest languages of the world. Every language must have transformed from the primitive forms to the present stage. At the same time many of the present languages have shortcomings/deficiences at various levels either in grammar modes or alphabetical arrangements or pronunciation differences of alphabets even today including the most familiar languages like English and our Tamil.

There are some little discrepancies found in the formation of combined/combination alphabets namely Uyirmei alphabets in Tamil language. In order to rectify this and also have additional alphabets so that to pronounce maximum possible sounds which hitherto not available in Tamil language this new Typing Keyboard Apps in the name Seermai-Tamil have been introduced for Windows and Android platforms.

The name of the App itself reveals the very purpose of this publication as the word Seermai gives the meaning in Tamil language to Reform/Rectification. So the need of this work have very well been explained by its title Seermai-Tamil towards the cause.

This has been done not only for the rectification of deficiency of the language so that to serve the Tamilians only who speak their mother tongue Tamil but also to promote the Tamil language all over the world in an efficient and effective manner as to reach maximum people to learn Tamil with ease and interest than the past.

Significantly in addition to the reformation of Tamil alphabets, here we could have the new numerical pattern for the first time with the inclusion of reformed numbers 9 and 0. This has been presented to avoid the existing definite confusion when the possibility of seeing the numbers 6, 8, 9, 0 in upside down position giving wrong values when combined or 6 and 9 alone. This might be considered a revolution in the number system.
