This is GREAT! It does everything it promises and no, you don't have to have a candidate's face...just scroll down to the end of the list and pick the bottom right icon. Personally, i like seeing Biden on my widget-

I had to uninstall since there's no way to stop using a candidate's picture. I was happy with the gradient background but wanted to see the pictures. Once I got in the picture mode there's no getting out.

Simple app that does not require any nefarious permissions. I downloaded it simply because I cannot wait to vote in November. Very surprised to see that the app developer did not create a countdown until inauguration app.
