"Distance" will always be useless while it's based on signal strength. That reading should be removed until a method using triangulation and geometry is implemented. I had to split my signal because the security cams require 2.4G. But the app will only read the 5G band the phone uses. The ability to switch bands within the app would cause me to pay for it.

Distances are only indicative of near, far, and somewhere in-between. Should not display to this imprecision. It would be nice if the meter display also had the dBm. WAS Best app of its kind that I've found. Not anymore. Free version cut to only connected lan, no nearbys. Am uninstalling.

Not accurate. Was in one spot no movements, and shows the distance from the wifi signal constantly changing. banner ad at the bottom of the screen was no problem but as soon you go into settings to change between meters and feet for distance. boom! a full screen ad pops in as soon as you hit your back button. No thank you. Banner ads: 4/5 Full screen "make a change setting" ads: -5/5 Ease of use: 4/5 Accuracy: -5/5 Overall: -0/5

Well...I've learned a few more wavelength terms like, dBm and asu. I've learned exactly what distance (in feet/inches) the signal has to travel to get to me. However...I don't have alot to go on (proof) as I'm writing this review. I need more time, I think, to discern exactly what it is that I need to strengthen and secure my Wi-Fi signal. I'm probably going to be heading towards, 'PVN'. I love a secure (corporate) network.

It does it's job decently, better than most and SIMPLE/unbloated. It has one annoying behavior tho; you have tobe connected, not sure why.. ( :'[ ie. I cant just check signal strength of all/any networks in range.) What more can i say? Except itd be nice to get some REAL Elec.Engr waveform antrnna data, like Airsnort or my old frequency analyzer from the late 90s. A history would be nice. Very nice. If just a plain text doc it, or anyone, can read.

simple, useful, ads are not a bother, does not ask for too many permissions. a great little app that did exactly what I needed. I just opened the app and walked around the house watching the nice big meter go up and down, then moved the router a little, walked around the house again, then turned the router sideways, problem solved.
